Posting A Video to Reddit

I have put a few videos there. Like others said, the Mods are picky as hell and will remove stuff quicker than you can blink if you don't follow the rules. Read the rules and see what others are doing, then post.
 
Reddit is a risky place to share your videos. You can get a lot of views, but at the same time a lot of dislikes. What I recommend you to do it to join a specific gaming community, such as /r/[insert the game you're doing here], interact with the community, and post ONLY your best videos there.
 
Shadowbans are what we should be aware of. Have it once and it's totally unnoticeable until you notice the post doesn't exist after logging out.
 
Prepare for down-votes and crap comments. That is what reddit is. Unless your content just fits in perfectly. Then you get mainly positive comments.
 
Reddit is an interesting animal. Your video should do better on smaller sub reddits that pertain to you video but still may do ok on the larger ones. I've learned to do some videos with specific groups of people in mind that I may never reach otherwise. Then using this, you can share to those people via subreddits that they are associated with.

(for example) I did a video on coffee in israel. It didn't do well on /r/videos but did fantastic in /r/israel or /r/jerusalem because it was still associated with them. Sure the latter two are not near as big of sub reddits as /r/videos but still gather attention, bring comments and feedback and, ultimately, views.
