Positives and Improvements

What's one thing you are proud of most when it comes to your channel?

What's one thing you think you could improve on most?

This can range from anything such as technical software/hardware improvements to appreciation of you starting to be more consistent, so don't be afraid to write whatever you feel works best

Mine are:
Positive: I'm proud of the message behind the content I create
Improvement: I should work on speaking in front of a camera because sometimes I'm very monotone

Positive: I have managed to stick to a schedule and also have been putting all my effort into the content.
Improvement: Need to work on my descriptions and tags on my videos

I’m working on my first channel video of building a dog house. In my head it was all planned out perfectly but as soon as I put the camera on myself I really struggled to speak properly and sound entertaining instead of being monotone.

It’s so difficult and I don’t think my first video will be that great but I gotta start somewhere.

The more I do the more I will be acustom to stand infront of the camera :).

Positive: On top of my channel turning eight years old in only a few months, I still have an average of over one video per day despite my slower output as of late. I don't know if that's something to be proud of, but I did set out with a crazy goal of uploading at least one video per day when I started since I had infinite time on my hands. I guess that still stands for now. Nothing else sticks out except that I'm close to 30K subs, but I'm not too proud of that either. Not enough for eight years.

Negative: Japan has made up 1/4 of my watch time and quite a bit of my viewership as of late for reasons I cannot seem to grasp. It's obvious that they could help grow my channel, but I have no idea how to cater to this audience especially since I don't know any Japanese. I feel like it is a major weak point for me right now and it is something I should think about in the coming months.

I totally know that you mean. My first video took a long time to even get my nerves up to make it in the first place and I personally think it was a pretty bad video. However, like you said, gotta start somewhere. After posting a few videos, I can say that practice does help over time.
Just don't forget to breathe, you got this![DOUBLEPOST=1517367288,1517364425][/DOUBLEPOST]

Happy almost 8 years! I think 30,000 subs is something to always be proud of. Regardless how far in you are, but i also see your frustration in the situation. Keep up the great work though!
Great improvement too. I bid you good luck in figuring that out.

Positive: I interact with as many people as possible. I have gained some amazing friendships.

Negative: We struggle with quality. We go through storage lockers and have tried many different set ups. A lot of them are too shakey for what we do. The best for what we do seems to be our phone on a gimble. I really strive to get a much nicer set up in the future.

That's awesome that you've had the chance to meet so many people! Gimbles can do wonders, but I see what you're saying. Best of luck! Also, I tried out your channel link and it doesn't work. Did you put the correct part in?

Positive: I am creating content that i am happy with and proud that people do enjoy what i make (no matter how many)

Negative: I had a period of inactivity i am now trying to recover from. Hoepfully by the right kind of advertisement and with consistency i will be able to get the ball rolling a little faster again.

I know what you mean. I had a 6 month period where I didn't post anything, but this year I decided I would get back on track and now I'm trying to post a new video at least every other week, which hopefully will move to every week.
You've been doing well and, like I've mentioned before, your content is great. Keep it up!

I'm proud of getting better at narration and storytelling. Also getting just over 100 subscribers within my first month! :)

I really want to get better at script writing in general, writing style/being more descriptive, so that's what I'm currently working on.
