Plugins?

How do they work like how do you install them? I saw some cool ones for FCPX but not sure how you go about installing them?

Well either the company that made that plugin you wan't sells it or lets people download for free you have to find their website to get it first. And you didn't mention for what software cuz any software can have 3rd party plugins installed on them and it can be done in several ways. Either you'll have to actually install it in the plugin directory or copy paste the plugin files to the softwares plugin directory.
