So our latest video is sort of a music video about our NYE celebrations, Please let us know what you think but be honest...


Also if there is anything you want us to review about your channel, we would be happy to do so. Just please try to be specific about what you want us to review

We will reply to everyone no matter how old this thread gets and we will give honest feedback :)
 
Pretty good mash up of what looked like a really fun night. I checked out some of your other content too. I liked the way you use the audio tracks, you always seem to have a great track for whatever is going on in the vid. But what I really liked about your channel is that its so diverse. Lots of great content and it looks like you all are having a blast in every vid.

I checked your channel out and I just want to say good for you for making so many videos. That takes a lot of commitment. Your channel art is all very good although you may want to consider giving your profile picture a bit of a makeover. You seem very comfortable on screen which is great. Your videos are for a bit of a specific niche market which is good because I imagine that results in you having some loyal subscribers. However if your goal is to grow your channel I would suggest focusing your efforts on something a little more mainstream but again thats totally up to you!

Fantastic video! :D Looks like you had a great night :) I have subscribed to your channel and have looked at some of your videos there really funny and great! :D What i would suggest about your channel though is making the channel logo a bit more professional other than that Fantastic keep it up! :) Could you please review mine, i would like to know if my channel art is good, and that my channel logo is good also. I would really Appreciate it if you had look at some of my videos too to see if they are good and well explained. :)
 
Hey your channel art is pretty good with the exception of your thumbnails. They are fairly dull and some of them are just pictures that dont even make somebody want to click on them. I would suggest adding some titles perhaps with the same theme as the rest of your channel art.

Your channel trailer needs to get to the point quicker. it took over 20 seconds before we even knew your name and the first seconds are the most critical for captivating your audience.
You need to spend the majority of the trailer talking about your content and why you are worth subscribing too.

It looked pretty good, a few things possible to add, transition with the mmusic a bit more, use more fade intos as in blend one scene to the next or more black fades, lessof the flash from one scene to the next things, it can be a bit meh at times. Also, don't be afraid to let some of the original audio seep through, yes it can be annoying if used often but if it is not as prominent as the music and not intrusive, it could add some effect to the video. Take a look at my Great Gatsby music video if you want a few examples of transitions, though I do allow for some flash transitions like scene 1 to scene 2 instantly, it is just the effect of the scenes transition that matters, not all scenes need a fade to black or a blend, but some do. As for everything else, it looks pretty good. Also, do not be afraid to speed up or slow down scenes if it adds effect or fits the music/timeframe of the video.

Pretty interesting video, not entirely sure what kind of audience you're really going for with it, without any sort of commentary it seems like we're literally just watching you guys wave a camera in circles with music.

I of course viewed some of your other content to get an idea of what your channel was about since this particular video wasn't really very descriptive. Needless to say you have an entertaining channel, I definitely wouldn't use this video as a reference to your content though since you have a lot of other entertaining stuff on your channel that would definitely catch other peoples attention a lot better.

I am kind of curious as to why you wanted people to review this one specific video since it didn't really seem to be relative to the rest of your content.

Hey, thanks for the honest feedback a lot of what you said makes a lot of sense!

As for your channel, you are definitely doing a lot of things right. I like your channel art, most specifically your thumbnails. Your channel trailer however could use some shortening. Also the trailer should not all be highlights. The purpose of a trailer is not to show your content, but to tell the viewer what your content is all about. You need to include a segment where you explain to the viewer what your channel is about and why they should subscribe to you.

I'm sorry, let me explain our channel a little bit.

You see, the idea behind our channel is that we host a series of us thinking of a random thing to do, and then simply doing it.

If you noticed on our channel, we have "Brain Storm Session" videos and regular videos. The purpose of the "Brain Storm Session" videos is for us to brainstorm what we want to do for the regular video that follows it.

Now, throughout videos Brain Storm Session #1 - #4, we used a anchor-style video to surround what we brainstormed the next regular video to be. That's why the first 4 regular videos feature inside our kitchen with a skit-style production.

For Brain Storm Session #5, though, we changed up our style a little bit.

Not only did we change our anchor-style Brain Storm Session videos to surround our brainstorm to a vlog-style video. But, we also changed our skit-style videos to the style you see in the Glitter & Gold video.

That's why we chose this embed this particular video, we wanted to know what you guys think about the new style of our channel.
