Please review backpacking video

Hi, I'm new here and this is the first video I'm putting up for review. I've been reading "How to Shoot Videos that Don't Suck" and trying to use what I've learned.

I shot this video this past weekend in Colorado while on a 3 day backpacking trip. The purpose for the video is to bring back memories and also to give others who hike this trail an idea of what to expect.

I'm not the sensitive type, so feel free to make constructive suggestions. Thanks for your comments.

two suggestions really because I know this is available on the youtube editor.

1) since your not using a tripod you might want to consider video stabilization although I dont know how well youtubes editor does this it will smooth out your video
2) another is the command yt stretch which will make your videos fill the screen which you may or may not like but sometimes I have videos that I fix after upload using this command if there is an error in them here is a video on that I have no clue if its any good but it has the command you put in your tagline to help that issue

otherwise nice video I just noticed some easy to fix stuff :)

Thanks for the inputs. I'm stabilizing it now.

I'll stretch it after.
you can remove the stabilization if it makes the video suck but its always nice to see if it helps the video. Stretch should be okay because your thumbnail for the video is stretched so it will only make the thing look better me thinks.

Wierd. The stabilization messed up the video. I've never had that happen before. It added transitions I don't like and cut a face off. I'll have to either figure out how to remove it or reload it. (I don't get too excited about losing view counts.) The stretch distorted things so I took it out. The were both great ideas. I've used the stabilization a lot before and this is the first one that didn't work.

yeah dunno probably because I suggested it it messed it up lol. I prefer the stretch to black mat but that is me. I have a few videos I have used stretch on and I bet no one realized they were done using the 4:3 aspect ratio hehe.
