Please help with choosing lens for product review and vlogging

Hello, I have CANON 70D and am looking for good lens to use

I do not want to place my camera too far from me and still get good video r ecording

I also would like to be able to get close to object and not loose focus...any good lens suggestions?

Did you get one of the stock lenses with it? If so, it'll most probably do.

I bought this lens with the camera

EF-S 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS STM Kit

but I cannot get good zoom, so I am thinking about getting


Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens

Have you gone into a shop and just looked at the different lenses?

I would recommend a 50mm to most people that do product reviews. You can keep the camera a good distance away from you but still keep great quality and you can also get some nice close up without needing to get too close to the object. It keeps the look of the video the same as you aren't constantly zooming in and out which stretches the background/foreground.

But many lenses can do the job of close ups and such for reviews, it all depends on what sort of look your going for and if you want to use this lens for anything else that you do in day to day recording.

50mm is best bet, but there is little zoom... I have a macro lense which takes great pics from up close and far away
