Please Give Me Feedback On My Gaming Channel

Dear Gamer

I've Got It
Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you could give me some feedback on my channel. My goal is to have a nice clean channel with good content. Would you mind looking over my channel and checking things like:
*Layout
*Thumbnails
*Titles
*Sound // Video Quality

I would really appreciate it. I enjoy making videos and I want to create content thats pleasing to the viewer. Thank you so much!

Michael @Dear Gamer

Hey, first of all, you got a great voice, I love it!

First of all, your thumbnails; Personally I think they're a bit overbearing, lot of extra unnecessary text. If you;ve got the title of the game already in your video name, don't use it in your thumbnail as well. It;s too much.
Title's; I thin title's are the most difficult part actually, how to make an interesting title? I'm not sure if I can say anything useful about it
Layout: Try to take like 2 or 3 games you enjoy playing and commentating on, it makes it easier for people to remember who you are, and what they can expect from you. Personally I upload a Minecraft video every Sunday, and on Wednesday a random Let's Play. My (uber small) fan base knows when they can go to my channel and find something new.

Hope you can use this,

LadyFMG

Edit: I;m now curious why you've got two threads asking for reviews, I thought that was forbidden

Thank you so much for your words. I was thinking of removing the title from the thumbnails. My fear was people wouldn't know what game I was referring to without the title in the thumbnail but I guess if they didn't search the channel I had a video on my thumbnail wouldn't show up. Thanks for your advice. I was nervous about how I would sound in my videos, it's refreshing to know you enjoy my voice.

As for the thread I created the other one then I found there was a section for "feedback" and review and posted it here. I tried to delete the other post but I didn't know how to do it. It only gave me the option to edit my post.

But, I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my request.

Your videos are in HD which is great and vocal audio is good
I think your layout of videos could be made faster paced - like keep highlights of a video instead of the whole thing? Attention spans for viewers can be so little you need to keep giving them reasons to stay again and again and again
As the above girl said, don't use so much text sometimes a picture can be matched with the words. I however run a free royalty-free music spotlight channel so the title of the music needs to be shown for certain, but that's all I provide in terms of text - everything else is clean and hopefully pops from the screen
Titles are looking fine, just make sure to use keywords in them as well as your description and tags!

A review of mine would be handy. I run a channel called MusicForTheDay which features a daily show in which highlights a variety of quality free royalty-free music for project/video content creators like yourself! Have a quick look and you might be interested in a few pieces :P I also use a 3D audio spectrum for viewer experience which hopefully you find unique. Any other comments are welcome

This is the first thing I see when clicking into your channel a button with a $ and "Support." Other than that cool channel, you definitely have lot's of potential of going places.

Just wanted to say thank you to you all, I made some changes to my channel. I redid some of my thumbnails and I took off the support section from my page.

I didn't want to tell you how to run your channel or be overly critical but seeing a small channel with very few views and following using the "tip jar" feature just screams "this guys is just in it for the moneys." In due time you'll get there just focus on making compelling content and grow a fanbase that supports you.
