Well im from montreal, Canada. So yeah playlist live is closer.
And I don't have that much money to do both.

I only went for a few days in the winter a couple years back, but I loved it! I also visited Toronto, which had its own charm. But I think Montreal was more visually stunning.

I was too young for the nightlife when I went. I was also with my mother, haha. But I will take your word for it. I just remember feeling bad because je ne parle pas francais.
Well, I haven't been to vidcon so I can't speak for it, but the Playlist Live experience was beautiful last year. There were so many people ranging from big name youtubers to smaller up-and-coming people and the community, of course, mixed in with a few fan girls in heat. I met so many awesome people!
And if that didn't convince you, they have a really fancy pool with a water slide.
