I've Got It
So, i have been wanting to do a picture in picture thing for my gaming videos for a little while, but i cant find a good editor to do it with. I have messed around with lightworks 11.1 and it keeps crashing on me, and i've tried adobe premier pro, and that is just a pain in my a**. So can any one give me a good editor, and a little help with making my pic in pic work?
Thanks so much :D

Sony Vegas Pro 12. Will do just about anything you need for gaming videos

Premiere pro sure is nice though, and a lot more popular in a work environment.

If you're not willing to take the time to learn Adobe Premiere "The industry standard editing software" and still want pip opportunities I'd recommend you look into cyberlink powerdirector. Super easy to use and allows you to use a couple layers. However if you even have a half hour to spare you can watch a couple tutorials and learn the interface of Premiere within that time frame and be fluent in the software.

What's wrong with Premier it seems great to me, but anyway AVS Video Editor is super simple and easy to use, you should be able to do picture in picture without to much trouble.

Well, you can try Smartpixel video editor, it has a PIP mode allow you to record your webcam as well as microphone while you capture your game video, the video editing tool help you fast cut and merge game videos and add effects.

Personally, I think you should put some more time into Premiere. It has a learning curve for sure, but once you get used to it, you'll find it's very powerful, and can do anything you want it to. Other than that, Sony Vegas is also quite good. I used that for a long time before making the transition.

Sony Vegas Pro 12 tied in with Aftereffects is nice, use Ae to polish it, and SVP to make it.
