PewDiePie has announced he is taking a break from YouTube in 2020.

The 30-year-old vlogger - who has amassed 102 million subscribers on his channel and earned an estimated £25 million fortune in the process - informed his followers of his shock departure on Sunday.

The Swedish internet star - real name Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg - who married his influencer girlfriend Marzia Bisognin last summer, said in his latest vlog: 'I am taking a break from YouTube next year. I wanted to say it in advance because I made up my mind.'

Siince that announcement, he has also quit Twitter.

Online sensation PewDiePie QUITS Twitter after leaving YouTube

On Sunday he announced he will be quitting YouTube in 2020. And a day later, PewDiePie wiped his Twitter account of all its tweets, keeping the profile there only to 'prevent fake accounts'.

So what do you think? Will this just be a break or is he going to quit in 2020?
 
I suspect it's just going to be a break.... Youtube has had a lot of changes, plus he's married now. After marriage, life just carries on just like before but without the stress of having to plan for a wedding, so things probably aren't all that different -- but I'd get pretty tired from posting all the time like he does.


Or maybe....baby?!?? Probably not, but that would be so cute!! I like babies... ^-^
 
Would not surprise me to see Pewdiepie return eventually but to an entirely different platform.
YouTube is against freespeech and pro censorship. I think Pewdiepie is for freedom of speech and against censorship.
