Pewdiepie didn't pick my channel for the shoutout :(

Am I missing something? Did he agree to pick names out of a hat and give random shoutouts to small channels or something?

I could care less and don't really keep up with his channel, so even if he did give me a shout out and somehow lots of people started subbing to me, I'd be completely confused as to why all of a sudden I got so many subs and would think I was being spammed rather than thinking that Pewds had a hand in it.

You had to enter to win and he picked his favourite 3 from all of them.

The same!! I would definitely rather and prefer to get a shoutout from Youtubers like Marcus Butler, PointlessBlog, Joe Sugg, Casper Lee, OliWhiteTV, Zoella, Bethany Mota, MyLifeAsEva lots lots more and plus more importantly there audience is my exactly my target audience for my YouTube channel!

Pewdispie's audience is not my target audience and I don't watch him and not subscribed to him either, I mean his videos are not the videos that I am into/like watching.

I'm not saying they should, but I hope if I ever get big that I would give back to the community.

Almost all big YouTubers depend financially on their YT channels - this is their livelihood. If they promote a small but highly talented channels they will be out of business in no time.

For me I would rather spend my 500 pounds on something way way better like a holiday or on tech stuff like tablets/cameras/PS4 all that stuff.


But I completely understand where you are coming from, what you mean as I said in my earlier post in this thread I would definitely do NOT want his audience go to my YouTube channel as it is 100% NOT my target audience anyway but if I had a gaming channel then it would be a different story.

Also, yep. I'd do it because if I had people like that on my channel, it would be destroyed because they'd be disliking everything and spamming sub4sub, etc.
