What does count is the among of Views you are getting each Month and how many of those are monetized. There are a couple of 1M YouTube Channels that earn way less then $10.000 each Month according to their last Year Tax report.

From only their savings now because of the saved Tax they are paying for their House and for those Cars they have rented out. Depending on how much you earn each month it might be really worth it for some.
I strongly believe that because of the Tax overall that pewdiepie will move in the end a third time from SE - UK -> <Insert a Country with no Income Tax> because I would do that if I were him or the Tax will kill him in the longer run when he every will go to pay it at some point.
