Personalizing my Channel?

Right now I feel like I'm just putting out lets play videos and nothing else that really "completes" my channel and makes it my own. How do I personalize it and make my subscribers more attached to who I am? I am trying and have tried to put a facecam on some videos, but always fails because my stupid camera always stops recording for some reason halfway through the video. I want people to come to my channel, and know WHO I am, and what my personality is and what kinda personality I have. Do you know what I mean? Like, I go to certain people's channels and I can just automatically feel more connected to them, and I just want to know how to do that.

I watched your channel, and your let's play are really good. What I've found appealing to gamers, though, is when they do something with a game that sets them different from every else. For example, I know you're playing Kingdom Hearts, but why not change up the storyline of the game and make it a challenge let's play, or a new type of speed run? Do something people haven't seen before, and it truly will appeal.

Well if your cam is giving your trouble, you could definitely look into a solution for why. Aside from that, it might actually be cool to have you welcoming people to the video and showing the cam during the introduction and first minute or so... then have the cam go away and the full game back on screen. Heck, maybe even when you are getting ready to call it for that day's vid, you could pop back on the cam to thank everyone for watching and invite them to subscribe (or like or comment... whatever you feel natural inviting them to do)

that is brilliant! Because a lot of people don't like the webcam and then I'd actually be able to record! Thanks for the advice!
 
Why not showcase the stories of specific characters in a well edited manner. Showing all the scenes, battles, etc. The journey they go through. Kind of telling the stories of other characters rather than just doing a let's play :-)

That might be cool to do! But for a different game. I am a total amateur to KH and I've heard it is a really complex plot and storyline, but maybe for Jak and Daxter or something! Lol.

Da facecams can help. You should look into trying to fix that thingy.
And make dem let's plays more unique. Idk how, cause I'm stupid, but you'll figure it out. I believe in ya bud
