I think it might be a little different when you are getting dislikes from countries that have never viewed your videos.

True but people are often lazy. Same also sometimes goes for likes. One could leave a comment what exactly they liked. Some do, but sometimes there are a lot of likes and not many comments.[DOUBLEPOST=1389082493,1389082232][/DOUBLEPOST]Could not agree more, it would be nice for the people who leave a dislike to comment what they particularly disliked about the video so the person can improve upon it, but it does help.
And I'd say there is a lot of "doing it right" in this attitude. You just can't please everyone and on your journey you'll gather likes and dislikes. I mean... Skrillex probably got (and still gets) a lot of "dislikes" (metaphorically speaking) but I bet he doesn't think about them when playing at a sold out arena. Wub Wub!I don't even pay much attention to dislikes (or likes, for that matter...). Someone hitting a button to indicate they didn't like my video doesn't hurt me. I make videos because it's fun and it's a good way to make friends. If other people have a problem with me or my videos.... they better just suck it up because I don't care!![]()

Wouldn't it be better if youtube just delete the dislike-thumb.
So if people dislike a video they have to tell it in a comment or they just leave.
If they just leave without any comment the creator of the video isn't left puzzled about that dislike-thumb.
