Benefits of partnering are very, very few especially for small channels. I don't recommend channels partner before they are AT LEAST 10,000 monthly views. Ideally 100,000 monthly views.
On youtube if there is anything that says "content ID match" next to it then it's probably one or all of those. RPM can be pretty picky about those.. however.. at this moment in time I don't really recommend RPM as their support is really slow and they have some work to do to get back their reputation... again. I'd say look for something that is specialized to your content and make that a goal.Ah! Gotchya! And how would I know what videos have copyrighted content?
Thanks for that! I'm not fused about the money, especially at this stage, but it would be nice to earn a few bucks down the track. And I'm not wanting to join a network at this stage, I will probably just wait till I have at least 200+ daily views. Unless you could suggest to me a network that specialises in gaming (just for the previous videos, I'm now moving to more design stuff, so if there's a network that specialises in that sort of stuff then that would be even better!)Something to add to this.. Your reason for getting a partnership can also be a HUGE factor on when you should get one.. If you are wanting to partner for money wait til you have 100,000 monthly views to actually make some money. (not that you should just be in it for the money, but you know..)
My example/story is I applied for partnership at 10,000 monthly views.. I did it because I wanted to experience the partnership process now before I would have to make some serious decisions when I do grow to the 100,000 monthly view mark. I'm using it more as a learning experience, any money I make will be a bonus. But by golly when I go to choose a network when I am up there in views *points to the sky* I will be ready.
Also, I didn't just jump in to the first network I saw to get that experience. I went with a gaming network that I felt would be a good choice to start with after careful consideration.
