Partner Manager

Search old posts. One or two people already reported their encounters with such menagers. Overall their impression was that the menagers were trying to learn from the YouTube creators. It didn't look they were very helpful.

If you get a strike - he/she gonna check and eventually speed up it removal (if it is not legit).
It will check your tags and tell you if you should remove some (to avoid strike).
If he really likes you he can tell his colleges what a nice dude you are and you may appear at the first page of YouTube for the next 6 to 12 months.

These are some if the things he/she can do for you.

No. Everything this is based on what I read on this and other forums. As well what I see is happening here in Japan.
We need at least 10 times our current traffic to get a manager.

I don't know if it is different. I don't follow so much the other YouTubes around the world so I can not really compare but I noticed that some local channels are heavily promoted on the YouTube Japan channel page. Some of these channels were much smaller than ours in terms of traffic but obviously somebody from YouTube staff have decided to promote them. So obviously the rules are not exactly the same for all channels and all countries or we simply do not know All the rules. :)
