Anybody had their own partner manager? I was wondering what will they help me in terms of my channel growing?
Anybody can help explain what does partner manager do? how will it affect my channel if I had one?

what do you mean by Manage
is he owned a MCN like Freedom, creative nation etc.
or what
you be clear in what you are asking so that we can help you in this regards

partner manager, a dedicated staff from Youtube in charge about your business development from Google end, you have to qualify certain criteria to get that.
 
as in my knowledge
if your channel gets more number of views like 10K to 20K per day
your channel will automatically eligible for direct contact through email and they will give support with in 24 hours

i think this information may clarify your requirement

its far more than this as I understand, that email consultation is a basic features for channel, but partner manager is something else. Something like your channel will become managed status if you have that.
 
i dont hear anything like that from youtube or from my fellow bloggers about this case

Search old posts. One or two people already reported their encounters with such menagers. Overall their impression was that the menagers were trying to learn from the YouTube creators. It didn't look they were very helpful.
