Part 1 always gets the most views?

I've realized something, and let me know if it's the same with you. If your making a video series (mainly for gamers) does part 1 usually get the most views? Because if you look at my channel, Part 1 has 53 views and part 2 has 5. That doesnt make sense to me :3

How do you usually end each episode in the series? Since it seems that you are losing viewers after part 1, the next time you start off a new series, try to end the first part as a cliffhanger. Think of all the movies and tv shows that sucks you in and at the end of the episode or movie, you're left wanting more because you want to know what happens. For you, if you're doing a LP for a game, try to end the video with a tease about the next boss you're just about to fight. Or at the very least have something for the viewers to look forward to as soon as part 2 of your series is available. I hope this helps.

I've noticed it as well. Episode 1 of my SurvivalCraft series has 106 views, while Episode 2 has 29 haha. I think it's because people see it's the first episode so they check it out, and they may not be interested in the series to watch the next one.

Well, i normally get the most views on the the sexier the thumbnail is LOL! but normally its like that .. if they dont like part 1, they stop.. if they enjoy it, then part 1 and 2 all the way too part 1000 :)) Try to keep all the parts as good as you can :) some people think cause part 1 is epic, that they dont need to invest the same, if not more, time on the other parts :))

I guess episode 1 is always posted first, thus has more views due to time. That, and not everyone gets around to watching the rest. Maybe try naming the parts differently to indicate what's significant in each, and link directly from part 1 to 2 in the video itself.

If it's a new game people just want to see how the looks like, they want a glimpse of it and maybe try it for themselve !
A lot of viewer told me that they are playong the game because of me now !
Those same viewer come back later after finishing the game just to see how I will handle the rest of the game !

Sometimes it is weirder though ! My part 18 of tomb raider got 200 views and my part 19 has got 350... So yeah...that's how youtube work I guess.. X)

If you have such a large drop-off in viewers, I would think that people checked out part 1 and didn't find the presentation good enough to continue with the series. Look at your analytics of #1 and check your graph to see how long most people watch it.
