Paid subscriptions

It wont fail, I dont see why people think its going to be for everyone... its for channels that post TV shows, films, sport events, things like that, its basicly like subscribing to an addon to you TV package. But, its on youtube, I think its a cool idea, I've rented like 12 films off youtube instead of using itunes and such because it just works better for me, so I'll use it once things I like that going on there :)
 
I think it could potentially be useful as well. Say a company charges you $2 for access to all their movies. It's like mini-Netflix. It wouldn't replace main Netflix but it gives companies another revenue stream and gets more people on YouTube. Say someone who's never cared for it gets addicted and comes across your free channel and subs...
 
I seriously think this'll fail. One of the reasons people love Youtube is because its free. I'm not excited to find out which channels will become paid.
