So judging by my Facebook feed tonight is Oscar night.

Is there such a thing for YouTubers?

If not, it would be a great idea!

Note: I'm new to this YouTube thing, so if I'm blatantly ignorant on some actually YouTube awards...chalk it up to my noobness.
 
There are a couple awards for YouTubers. They are not as big as Oscars, but they are special to YouTubers. There are Shorty Awards, which are a pretty big deal on YouTube. Also, YouTube sends you an award for hitting 1 million subscribers. There have been a few other groups who have tried to make awards like this, but few have been successful.
