origionality is dead?

As a new found ranter on youtube i find it very hard coming up with topics that will be interesting enough to upload, i don't like the trending bandwagon stuff as its too much competition and has been beaten to death after a few hours if that. what can i do to get my mind flowing again?

i once heard a quote that went something like "Nothing under the sun is new everything repeats and cycles itself" i don't really believe there is such a thing as originality you pick and pluck different things from your favorite influences to create your brand and then the cycle repeats when some child comes around looking up to you. *Maybe i'm miss interoperating your post*
