Something I've noticed when browsing through Youtube is that a lot of creators don't organize their homepage. They leave it on default which results in a long list of recent activities you done such as liking other peoples videos or who you've subscribed to. This layout is not appealing to new visitors and it will turn them off.
When I think of how I market my page I put myself in the shoes of the viewer, is the page easy to navigate, is it appealing? Sometimes we might overlook these things but they are very important. Just like when your on a first date first impressions matter. if you home page looks good it will give you a halo effect and viewers will automatically assume the rest of your content is good. But the opposite is possible as well, if your homepage is not organized and clean viewers will think you content is low quality and sloppy.
If you haven't yet, I would take some time to clean up for page and create sections and playlist to showcase your best content so viewers will watch your videos and subscribe to your content.
