To me, there seems to be something wrong with your views. You have 700 subscribers and averaging 2000 views a month, and I don't think these numbers correlate (but I can be wrong). I am basing this on my channel because I have half the amount of subscribers that you have and averaging around 6500 views a month. So I would check why you're not getting more views because that is where your exposure comes from--not from subscribers.
Also, I always recommend people to be more active in your niche (whether it be on YouTube or any other website). Just ask yourself when was the last time you left a quality comment on a video. Just commenting and interacting with the community is (in my opinion) the best way to grow organically because it shows your dedication and knowledge about the subject. So for you, find people who also do skateboarding videos and leave a comment that contributes the video or start a conversation with another commentor. Just remember that YouTube is a social network; it's there for people who want to engage in different communities.
