One video has all the views..

Hi all :)
So, about a month ago, one of my videos got shared somewhere and it picked up "a lot" of views. Right now it's at around 5.5K, whereas all my other videos are still between 50-130, some even lower than that. They've gained a bit since that one video got shared, as they were all below 20 before that.
However, that single more successful video obviously stands out a lot, and I want the other videos to pick up some views, but how? The obvious answer is end screens and cards, and links in the description, but does anybody have any other tips? The videos do get likes so those who find them do enjoy them, but I don't know how to get more people to see them.

ps - sorry, really struggled to name this thread lol

On my old channel my videos averaged around 100-200 views and a good video would get about 500 views. But somehow I had a video get about 70k views and another with 20k views. It helps the channels but you can't really do much with random videos getting shared and obtaining large amounts of views compared to the other videos.

As long as you are consistently producing quality content, using the appropriate tags for all your videos and being active then with promoting your videos the views will keep coming. You can't expect thousands of views on every video just because one video was a big hit. Aim to make another video become a big hit and then just keep working on them to get better and better building a bigger audience base. Good luck :)

there's a 90/10 rule meaning 90% of your views will most likely come from 10% of your videos so you're not alone. in the mean time, keep plugging away with videos. all the thumbnail, tags sharing etc you catch my drift.

This is quite common. Not all videos will be successful. Another technique would be to create a playlist with your less popular videos after the popular one. But the best advice would be analyse the popular video and try to identify why it was so popular and then make more videos like that going forward.
