One thing I still dont understand about joining an MCN

If I were to leave Curse today, would I make more money? If so, then whats the point of joining a network? if they take a percentage, does that mean that I would be better off just monetizing through youtube? just wondering because im starting a non-gaming related channel and I want to know if I should join another network, because curse is gaming only.

I guess you'll have to think about the services you use within their network, such as music, art, sound effects, etc. If they're taking more from you then you feel you're getting in return, then yea definitely leave.

I mean I like them, but they offer none of that. The only thing I get is the ability to get paid
