One Long Video or Two short ones?

So I made a first part of my new let's play of AC4 yesterday, and it ended up being 30 minutes (time flew), and so now, I'm afraid that if I leave it 30 minutes long, that will drive people away. But if I cut it in the most convenient spot the second part of episode 1 would be only 10, 11, 12 minutes long, and there would be no intro for the second part and no outro for the first part (although I could just record my voice and add that in there..). I just don't know which to do, and I am afraid I'll make the wrong decision (if there is one).

Perhaps you can edit a bit and cut out parts that aren't really worth viewing instead of uploading the whole thing.

That might turn that 30 minute episode into a 20 minute episode

I find that people like video lengths of all sizes, I don't think it really makes a big different either one you pick. I would choose going longer in your case instead of ending the video in a weird spot.

If in doubt, go shorter My personal experience is some people won't even start a long video when they see its length.

you better switch it in 2 parts,people will come back to check the next part because they want more

If a video is longer than 5 minutes and its not a youtuber I'm already fond of I generally click away. That's just my personal experience.

If your telling me good information for the whole 10 minutes or so i would probably listen and keep watching. But personally i am not a fan of long videos i never watch them all the way through
