If you do it right, then it can work. What I would do, and I do plan on doing once I upload a few more videos, is change the interested on your Omegle to "YouTube" and only do text chat. Once you get onto a chat with somebody of that common interest, you start talking about YouTube in general, maybe talk about a popular YouTuber that does similar work than you and ask if they like that YouTuber's content, then let the conversation go towards your YouTube channel. Don't ask right away for them to check your vids out, then that'd just make them less tempted to see your material. The easiest way to do this is while talking to them, ask them,"So, do you upload videos yourself or do you just view?" to which they will answer and ask you the same thing, to which you say yes and kinda talk about your, and maybe their, videos. That is when you ask them if they'd want to see your videos, to which they'd be more likely to say "Sure" or "Yes". This process works alot better than just posting links to your videos on Omegle because then you've already made a personally bond/connection with them on some level. It's psychology at it's finest...
