Old videos randomly getting traction, and I have no idea why

That's happened to me, once.
An old video of mine randomly began gaining many views, quickly.
It reached like 25K views before it stopped growing. I have absolutely no clue what made it begin growing, but it was certainly nice to get 20 bucks from it
 
for some reason about 3 weeks ago one of my videos got picked up in Brazil ...I have no idea why its gained traction but its now not only my most watched video...but just based on the traffic i've recieved from that one bump my analitics are now forecasting that 35%+ of my traffic is coming from Brazil xD
 
I’m in the midst of this happening on my kind of goof off channel. There’s usually about 50 - 80 views a day on that particular video and now in the last 4 days it’s received 82k views. Which I’ve never seen for either of my channels.
 
Likely the videos were ranking in search, and/or suggested videos. These can take off months after posting! Make more videos on similar subjects to capitalise also over time.
 
Very often a new video from a bigger channel that’s got matching terms will trigger yours into being suggested and recommend

Yeah, I had something similar happen too. I had an older channel that wasn't getting any views and I went onto it recently just to have a look at it and saw that one of the videos had started getting around 50 views a day (and that had been going on for like 3 months). If anyone knows why that happens I'd love to get an answer.
