Old Partnership Days.

Anyone know if there is a sort of YouTube timeline/partnership/network timeline? I'd be curious to see the progression.

YouTube should of just offered the extra features (banner, thumbnails etc) as a different package to the actual Partnerships.
The bigger partners should be rewarded, I have always been a person who thinks people who work for it deserve it and they only changed because all these moany s***s wouldn't stop complaining about how they will never get anywhere on youtube but to be honest if you cant reach 1k views per day after a year or two then perhaps it isint your thing.

Yes, that as well as roll out of features, major changes in policy/direction, and history of networks's progression/splits/explosions/drama

They do, do that :mstickle:
Bigger YouTube partners (Monetization) get offered Banners, video claiming, their own CMS (limited access), their own CMS (full-access)
If you were with YouTube with like 1M subs then you`d have all features except for shows.[DOUBLEPOST=1365952712,1365952690][/DOUBLEPOST]

Not Really, I know some of it :p

It kinda makes me bitter that I tried my very hard to be a partner and 4-5months after, all youtubers can be partnered. smh. Partners don't have any advantage over starting channels now, everyone can make their own thumbnails. Youtube is sucking every little penny you can earn and you cannot even get the penny you earn unless you get a $100.-.-

I was a musician back in 09-11 and I accumulated 140000 views total & 600 something subscribers. I had to quit the channel because of personal hardships.

Back than when you said i'm youtube partner, you had 1000's of subscribers and got alot of views per day with Original content. These days when you say it people see you as a gamer that has 20 subs and 40 daily views.

I feel like a old man. I was a partner back in the days when you had to apply and wait for ages from google, I think I applied like 2 times before being accepted and I have around 1,500 subs and a few hundred thousand views it felt amazing.
