What determins where your video shows up on the list when you do a search, when my video was gettin alot of views every day it was like 4th from the top on page 1 or the search, now when you search for the same word its not even on the first 5 pages?
 
Tags and statistic of the video maybe.. But there's no clear explanation for this.. But i'm sure it affected by tags, because i experimented with one of my video that showed on page 5 in search result.. When i changed it to another tags, it was in the 2nd page of the search result..
 
well it could be a few things...other videos get uploaded that are related to yours so your video could get bumped down for that i would imagine
 
look up metadata and how to improve it.
metadata is stuff like titles, tags and descriptions
 
I think it has a lot to do with popularity, trends and what's in your title and then description. I personally think that tags come last.
 
It's title, tags, and views. Youtube rank your videos depending on how much views the video is getting and the retention rate. Tags and titles are also a factor to that too. I don't know much about description but I believe it would help a little bit too. It's just everything on Youtube that's in "letters" can be used to help your videos' ranking. xD
