Ok.... so Nintendo and Youtube....

That reminds me a lot of what Warner Music and Disney were doing a few years back.. =/ It took them several years, but they eventually realized that YouTube covers can actually help boost their sales, and they seem to have stopped taking down every cover they come across. Maybe Nintendo will realize something similar, too, and become a little more flexible. The Nintendo program shows that they acknowledge that YouTube is worth hiring several staff to upkeep their program. They may realize they make more money if they turn that work back over to YouTube's Content ID with some sort of negotiated YouTube contract.... I'm hopeful that things will get better in the future. ^^

Hope they somehow bring Twitch into the 3DS and Wii U and NX later down the road. Would be nice for them to accept social media and find out it helps them too.

What it looks like is atm nintendo is cracking down on emulated games and hacked games. I think they're being lenient to the regular videos though.

Nintendo are claiming all those videos, yes.
But it doesn't give you any copyright strikes, and they don't delete your channel.

It just gives all ad revenue to them.
But they have started taking down ROM hacks afaik.

Maybe they mean cracking down on rom sites. Which is silly since they don't still make those games. (Only make money from new games not used)
