G'day, my name's Lucky. Man I have some serious deja-vu from that introduction post I just wrote. Anyway, here's the skinny:
I'm generally quite bored sometimes and feel like doing something productive so I googled this forum and see that there's some people here who are doing their own stuff in creating media. I don't have the equipment right now to do my own thing so I'm generally acting as an administrator and editor for my own channel and I have quite a bit of free time.
Some general rules in enlisting me:
1. Audiovisual media must be compressed and under forty minutes in length. I don't have either the bandwidth or time to do more than that.
2. It's immensely appreciated for game video and audio to be separate from commentary for let's plays, which I'm assuming will be the most common thing here. It's mainly an issue because of sound mixing, and if the original cut is below my standards I'll not be working on it.
3. Written editing needs to be in a google document because that's my preferred medium. You should already have an account and it's pretty idiot proof, so it's not a major issue. The most secure method is granting access to my account specifically, which I can also explain.
4. I get to do preferential treatment, and there is no due date. I don't like leaving people hanging so I'll tend to do it as fast as I can but if life, a more interesting project, or my partner's projects pop up in the way you may not see a final version for some time.
5. I can refuse whatever the hell I want to refuse and you can go suck a lemon if I do. If it's a matter of time I'll keep you in mind for later on and send you a message when I have some.
If you haven't fled yet I welcome you to post some details and PM me a way to contact you so we can discuss things. Importantly I have no idea how large files will be transferred, but file sharing sites or torrents are probably the best way to go so it's really up to you to work that out because I am a gibbon.
