Offered a partnership. Really need your opinions.

Maker Studios offered me a partnership today on my channel. Spending a couple of hours looking up peoples opinions on whether to join or not has not helped at all. The argument is so two sided with both sides having their right and wrongs.

Like PewDiePie, Markiplier, Dodger and Toby Turner are partnered with Maker Studios?
Is it that bad you know when they have the biggest youtuber in the world with them?

People say they don't help much and they just steal most of the earnings you make. God I put a lot of effort into my videos and I don't want to sound special or anything(I'm really not)but I don't want to except this and regret it.So your opinions would be awesome guys Thanks!

In my opinion, your channel is still super small like mine. So what are you really going to lose by taking a partner as big as Maker? Right now I assume you aren't making any money with only 20 subs, they could help expand your subs. This is just an uneducated opinion as I haven't researched any partners yet because I only have 16 subs. I hope it works out for you

Is there an "opt out" option, or are you locked in for a certain amount of time?

If I'm being honest, I'm surprised they're reaching out to a channel so small. They must see a lot of potential in your channel and genuinely want to take you to the next level. It's just my guess though. Personally, I would go for it. At this point you don't have much to lose anyway, and by the time you start making a lot of money, your contract will probably be almost up anyway.

Are you sure it was Maker Studios and not Maker Gen? Cause those are very different. Maker Studios is just the parent company with Polaris being the thing you're thinking of. Do your research if there's a contract. If you don't like it then don't accept, clearly you qualify so you can always come back later.
