OBS and Xsplit Quality problem

Ok so OBS looks better at 1080p EVEN THOUGH it isn't 1080p, but then xsplit is 360p, so if anyone has tips plz help, I have an amd fx 6300 and a gtx 480 which I think is my problem lol but if there are any tips that would be great!

What program do you want to use OBS or Xsplit? I used both and Xsplit is paid and was slowing down my pc a lot. OBS is awesome, it's easy and free and on their website you can find tons of plugins even for live streaming. How to get the best out of best from OBS/Xsplit you gotta look it up on google, or watch some youtube videos

Yeah, bc it's either my settings or my hardware that's screwing up the recording quality
