Now I am totally persuaded about Pewdiepie's Influence.

Okay, so Pewdiepie uploaded a video where he was talking about Falcon Lover which is a fictional guy Pewdiepie did and posted some comments in his own videos and then made a funny video out of this. (Yeah I know kind of confusing.). So after that everybody went and made fake accounts with "Falcon Lover" and they earned hundreads of Subscribers and a guy especially earned 1200 in a few hours. The Influence Pewdiepie has is just brainwhasing.
 
Thats why I don't watch Pewdiepie's videos, I don't like the ve brain-washed O.O
 
He doesn't really have "that" much, like if you look at his latest charity campaign it made roughly half that of Tyler Oakley a channel with a sixth of the subscribers.

And for the most part these vloggers have a much more "involved" audience that gamers or any other genre as alot of the followers vloggers have, border-line stalk them lol and would be willing to pay alot of money to have any involvement with them whether that be just part of a group thanks for a donation.

I'd imagine pewdiepies audience to be a bit younger than Tyler Oakley's too, I'm just guessing as I don't follow either, but kids tend to have less cash to throw at charity ^^

That is quite a good point! 7 year olds aren't going to raise nearly as much money for things like that, unless they ask mommy and daddy for money.
 
In essence all we do is follow someone's lead. I never watched a video of the guy, but that's because he's not in my slice of YouTube I guess. I am quite sure he's influential, but that tends to happen when you are #1 and everyone wants to be your friend.

I guess he does have influence. Though probably anything can influence 10-16 year olds.
 
Hes a powerful guy in the gaming community without a doubt, although I dont like him I still have to give it to him hes worked for those numbers and the way he handled it all was all too good, luck + good content = profit which is what he had
