Yeah I was refering to live commentary. Post commentary I'm fine with most of the time. I'm just going to stick to going off the top of my head for live commentary in future though, especially for AAA games. Indies I'll probably just use the first ep to discuss the game as it's pointless to drag on information about it throughout each ep unless it's required, e.g. would have to be Planet Explorers, I explained pretty much everything about the game in the first video since I wasn't sure if I'd do a LP or not. I might make notes to use throughout a LP but not sure as recently I've decided that I won't be doing as many LPs until I've finished current projects.
My current strategy though is that before you start a big series or a big anything you gotta have a back catalog. Basically meaning when I see your part one of that LP the LP better be finished on your PC. There's nothing worse to a youtube fan then seeing an LP get cancelled because of whatever reason. That's why I have a huge back catalog i'm working on building up that way when I do my full launch (i have 7 videos up now which are the same quality but still) where I can post 1 video a day and not have to rush to meet some deadline. So build a back catalog first.
