Hi everyone, I'm having a problem where I'm seated about 6ft from the camera (Canon EOS M50 15mm-45mm) and staring right into the lens, but for some reason... my footage still comes out showing me not looking into the camera (slightly off to the side)! This is extremely frustrating so any suggestions would be really helpful, thank you!

Welcome to the forum & congrats on 1st post. What focal length do you have the lens set to? You said you are looking into the lens, not the side selfie screen?
I recently did 2 camera reviews a6400 a6600, they have flip up screens, mentioned how convenient it was to keep looking at the flip up screen instead of the lens

Why not just put a sticker somewhere to look at while filming

I have a similar problem on my Lumix FZ300. It does have a flip out screen and I can see and adjust where's the center of the lens, but for some reason I'm still out of it for some reason
