Non-Skippable Video Ads

For me, the ones that were longer than 30sec are skippable! which is nice!

And so they should be!. Don't know about anyone else, but as a viewer, I'm finding the majority of ads I'm being served up are short non skippable. I have no problem with that. Especially if it's from a channel that I follow.

Thanks everyone for your opinion, I think I've got a good idea about what should I do with these ads on my channel :)

It mainly depends on your prospective. The viewer only needs to watch 5 to 10 second of the ad for you to be paid. So if you are more interested in the money I would enable these ads.

But if you care more about your watch time I don't recommend you to use these ads. As like shane said it will highly decrease your viewership since people just simple don't like ads at all.

I was personally confused when this ad format was added to my CMS around 3 weeks ago. I had to ask my PM what was this, what happen to the ad types. But overall I recommend not using them as I personally seen channels watch time and viewership drop on videos that have it enabled.

I don't earn any significant money at the moment with the subs and views I have, so I think my priority right now should be attracting new subs and regular viewers to my Channel.

I think at the point my Channel is at the moment, it's more important to keep growing as fast as possible, rather than getting a couple dollars more each month.

Pretty sure it's at least 30 secs on skippable, and completion of non skippable that are under 30 secs.

how to get Non-skippable video ads
i tried " docs.google.com/forms/d/1nCvCTyUG8NYy5n0lZj2PZMGlulvGTvU9QKaljx0vg9U/viewform " this but not worked

I can't post links so try this search productforums.google how to enabled Non-skippable in-stream ads

Non-skipable ads suck. If I'm ever at a computer without adblock and one of those comes on, I'll usually just close the video..Even though your network recommends you activate all ad types, you don"t have to

Sadly, this how the majority of people are… and it's also part reason why revenue is down. If people won't watch or click on ads, there's no money.

You are correct. From the Adwords help section:
"For videos 30 seconds or longer, you'll be charged when the viewer reaches the 30-second point of the video. For videos shorter than 30 seconds, you'll be charged when the viewer watches the video to the end."

That, of course, would mean that inversely when the viewer reaches the 30 second point of a video longer than 30 seconds the creator gets paid. Same thing for watching the entire length of videos shorter than 30 seconds.
