Sounds pretty good to me :)
I would partner with them! :D
This is actually really bad advice, please to anyone reading, investigate the network before even replying to them. They could be a sub-network, or even worse a content aggregator, in which case they would be the middle man taking all your money.

I'm pretty sure they are a Virtual Network under GameInVision Network. I know the owner of GIV.
Content Aggregators don't take all your money anyways, they only usually get 10%, which leaves 10% for the VN, and whatever percentage for the MCN, and then (usually) about 70% goes to the partner. You need to learn a few things about sub-networks and content aggregators before you go and say they take all your money. CA's have no control over how much money they receive. I have been the CEO of 2 CA's in the last year, and the default is 10%. I am currently a COO of a VN right now, and even as a VN, they don't have much choice as to how much revenue they take.

It's either 10% or less. By no means is that "taking all your money".

MCN's are the networks that have full control over revenue shares, and are the one's that are the most negotiable when it comes to a better revenue share.

By the way, Daniel said that they offered an 80% Revenue Share- how is there a middle man there, dude? Partnership money always comes from YouTube, then goes to the MCN, who then distributes the rest. When they say 80%, they mean 80%!

Learn more about networks before you talk about Middle-men and such, because CA's are often better than MCN's, because of more niche-based support, and features, rather than having the huge generalization of an MCN, or a VN.

Of course, I do agree with what you said about investigating the network- that is always a must.

Please don't tell me I "need to learn", I've put all the research into learning this as possible. Making Youtube videos is my full-time job, and there's absolutely no reason why someone would sign with a VN or a CA when they could go directly to the MCN. Telling someone that "sounds like a pretty good deal, take it", is probably the most ill advice I've seen in a long time.

70/30 is an awful split, especially for a network which will virtually do nothing for your channel as opposed to other networks.

I have been on YouTube for 4 years (with different channels), and I have been networking for 2 years. If you have a small channel, the best thing to do is go to a VN or CA. You might not like it, since you have a bigger channel, but when you are a smaller channel, and you would like better support and better features specifically for your channel, then a CA or VN would be better, since an MCN is busy focusing on bigger channels.

My advice was basically "hey, they sound pretty good so far, I'd take the deal if I got it".

Ever heard of Creative Nation? They are an MCN, and they are creating in-house VN's to cater to each niche of partners.
MCN's are not always the best for smaller channels.

I think this is his own network, which now I think he understands that he cannot incentivize or recruit here. I hope so anyway.

Nonono, you said: "that sounds good, take the deal" with no idea what the actual contract states. You didn't research the ad sales of the network, nor the partner support they offer in any way. Please don't speak our your a**.

@DogZRobZ

It really makes me laugh considering:

a) You know when the network is launching
b) You somehow 'guessed' the skype for the network
c) You have one of the owners of the network in your sub-box.
d) Sykute spoke with you about the network
e) You know the VN they were under and tried to educate Uberdanger about the network even though he probably knows more than most people here.

If you work with the network, at least give some honest advice. There's no point saying 'They are very good, I would recommend them'.
