No More Tags?

Staff once said you should go for about 20 tags where half of them is very specific for this particular video. Use a good variety of single and multi word tags.
I don't use tag finder.
 
Tags work perfectly fine. But I remember a while back you would be able to tag your video to a similar video on another channel. Now that they got rid of too bad!
 
Not sure why you would think that tags/keywords would go away.

Literally, the way the internet works for any search medium, is that crawlers look for tags, titles, keywords, etc and through various algorithms that have continued to evolve and get better over time, they determine search results related to the subject you want. Why you think this would just go away...no clue.
 
Oh those. Yeah. I haven't seen suggested tags either. But I don't really need them. I know what's in my video and what to and not to tag.
 
Must of just been a glitch, cuz honestly the tags were gone! So weird!
Oh well.. at least now I know it was just a one time "what??", instead of YT getting rid of em all together.
