No Gender Information?

Alright so I've had some videos up for a while, and I get that YouTube Analytics is quite far behind what the real-time numbers are, but none of my videos have any gender information.
They all just say "Male: N/A Female: N/A"

Not sure what I'd even do with this information if I had it, but it's something I'd like nonetheless.

ANy ideas what's happening? Do I just have to get more view? Cos it can't be a time thing any more.

You probably need more views. You can try and change the report from 30 days to lifetime and see if thats enough.

it takes a while for them to get that information. Just wait a while. It took about a month for them to work for me and even then when I clicked on them they didn't show anything, just said to come back in a few days.

Yeah I did all that. I've got one video that broke the 301+ barrier, and a couple more that should hopefully do it soon. I wasn't sure if that would be enough - probably not lol

Look at the geography of your views, if they're marked as unknown then the system can't determine if they're M/F.

Not only does it take a long time. You need a lot of views that are registered on youtube showing their gender as well for that information to be visible.

If your viewers are the typical 14 year old boy, you wouldn't know what gender they are either.

Is it perhaps a location thing? That it's not available to users in certain areas yet? Because I'm subbed to you - I'm from central Scotland too and I don't get that info either? Or maybe it's just that we're impatient and aren't waiting long enough haha!

Haha maybe, who knows? I'll certainly update this thread if anything changes, but I doubt it will. And thank you so much for subbing me - it means a lot!
