No email when someone subscribes?

Yeah what happen was youtube gave the option for people to be private when they send subs but didn't tell people about it and automatically switched people to that setting! Because when I checked mine i was also switched over having never even touched that option!

For about the last week this has been happening to me as well.

That email is important as far as I am concerned. When I would get that notice that a new channel subscribed, I would go check out their channel and see if I wanted to sub back. However, once my sub-rate started getting over 25 a day, I was not able to keep up. I set up a filter so that those emails get automatically forwarded to a folder. This way, I can check to see when somebody subscribed to me. I was only at around 1,500 subs at the time. Now that I'm over 30K, that folder has a lot of emails LOL!

It's a Youtube glitch. It should fix on its own, and even so, not all notifications are sent every single time. There is no real solution to it, unfortunately.

What Lilikoi Juice stated this is in fact the case all we can do is be patient until youtube resolves this bug.

It's started happening to me ever since I used the new option to set up a Google+ page directly from within YouTube and link it to my account. I don't know if it's something to do with the fact that I now choose to log in as the page rather than my email address when I'm given the option??
