No answer from Youtube(suspended channel)

Did you place keywords in your description in lists? I have witnessed a few channels recently being terminated and they were using them.
Hi,

Thanks for tuning in!
I still had some keywords left in the description in some
of my older vids. I was actually going back to take them away
(I came halfway), when my channel was taken down.

This is the only thing I can come up with that might have
been the reason. But again, my account was in good standing,
no warning, no nothing. I wished Youtube used their on system
that they have implemented and not just shut down channels like that.
And I also wished that I didn't have to wait so long for an answer; three months!

Best,
Roger

Hopefully thats the issue and youre able to resolve it and remove them if they reinstate your account. They really should start terminating the large channels that do it, many of the top 100 channels do it for SEO purposes with no punishment, rather unfair really as it sends the message that treatment isnt equal.

Well said, that's exactly what I'm thinking as well.
I wonder how many subs you need to have in order to
get that "treatment"?

Probably starts somewhere over 100k subs!?

As you say, I need to know why my channel wad suspended and if there's something I
can do about it. The problem is the waiting game, it's killing my channel.

Michael, the keyword in the description is it something like putting the tag keyword in the description?

oh ya and for Roger, for your information, the appeal will usually be respond in about 1 weeks, thats the golden time for your appeal to get verify, after that, Im sorry but they wont give a damn. The reason they don't response simply because they are confirmed with the decision they made.

Writing lists of tags in the description instead of using the tag area is what I am referring to :)

An example would be posting this in the description:

allude,elude allusion,illusion aloud,allowed altar,alter alter,altar ant,aunt arc,ark are,r ark,arc ascent,assent assent,ascent ate,eight auger,augur aught,ought augur,auger aunt,ant aural,oral away,aweigh awed,odd aweigh,away awful,offal awl,all awn

a lot of famous channel do that, and Youtube dont give a care :(

My point exactly, its part of their SEO strategy and gives smaller channels less of an ability to compete. YouTube wont ban most of them though as they're bringing in the money.

Yes, I know. This was what I learned to do when i started out on Youtube
2 1/2 years ago, having tags in the desription as well. A lot have changed since then. Although my old descriptions
didn't look as spammy as you show here.

Again, the rules of Youtube have been changed or modified, I'm fine with that. But I would have appreciated
a warning, and not that they bring down my whole channel. If this is the reason.

I'm also surprised that some Youtubers go on year after year doing what you describe, but still,
ther channels are up. I've also seen a lot of misleading titles, but the vids are still up. Weird.

money is everything :( as long as your channel is famous, you can do whatever you want

Exactly, I've seen a lot of that during my time on Youtube.
In the end, money rules.

I'm afraid you're right. I wonder how many subs you need to have until you
get that special "treatment"? 100k, 200k?
