I'm hoping there is a solution for my issue. Back in 2006 I created a YT account with a user name of "rebelracing" our Mustang dragracing exploits. Didn't really do much to it for the last 4 yr but have looked at it several times since then.
Last month--Oct. 20, I grab my laptop (that we rarely use) and upload a new video of a car part that I was selling. It uploads fine to the old account-- I think no more about it.
2 days ago I want to delete that new video ( car part sold), and there is no way to log into that old account. I don't recall if I had to enter a uname or pw at that time.
I know that everything goes through Gmail now and I can upload through my Gmail log in but it started a new channel with a new video I made.
I've tried to link my "Legacy" account to the Gmail one but it won't let me.
What I find baffling is that on Oct. 20 I could acess the old account but 3 weeks later I cannot. I know my username is rebelracing and am relatively sure of the password. All my old vids are still there. I really just want to delete the last one I uploaded in Oct.
Sorry for rambling on............is there something I am missing???
