Hello everyone,
my name is Nick and I am content creator on YouTube channel with 28k subscribers. I am recording on my native language (Serbian), but I want to make another channel for global audience.

My english is not perfect but I am sure everyone can undersant what I am talking about, even I am talking on my 'rusian-english' way. Because of my 'non-perfect' english I want to ask you is it good idea to start with english channel and what do you think about that?

I would record most videos about food and drinks, I will do some challenges and 'tag' videos.

Thanks. :D

English is a super hard language, and there are loads of people who speak it as their first language but struggle with speaking it "properly" or being completely grammatically correct all the time, so I honestly wouldn't worry about it! There are a lot of English speaking people on YouTube, so you definitely have a chance at a larger audience, particularly given that you already have 28,000, which is just amazing!

Plus, even if you are worried about your English not being perfect, it'll definitely improve as you practise and do more stuff in English, and you can always ask for help from your subscribers, you know? If you currently do review videos of food and drink, you could totally start with that - people love those sorts of videos, and because you already have so many subscribers, you'll probably be quite high in the rankings in any new tags you end up using.

You should definitely go for it if you feel like it's the next step forwards for you! Good luck! :)

i think you should definitely do it, you have nothing to loose and you reach out to a greater audience speaking english, it can only get better.

My English skill is not good, too. Then, I think that you can make your video with free license music and put a subtitle on it. It depends on your niches. Nevertheless, YouTube viewer just want to see your video not listening to your video.

Based on your initial post, I perfectly understood everything. You don't need perfect english in order to have a successful english speaking youtube channel. If anything, an accept or imperfections give it some more personality and character. You may want to use it to your advantage! As one of the posters above mentioned, even most people in the U.S. can't speak 100% perfect english so I wouldn't have anything to worry about. The key is just portraying confidence and be entertaining! Good luck!

There's no harm in trying and on the plus side if you're making videos where you keep speaking English then your English will progressively improve.

I agree with JDog, there's no harm in trying. And it will improve through times. English is also my 2nd language but I keep uploading anyway hehe. Good luck mate! : )
