Essentially, they seem to have created a mash of imdb and youtube. I'm still learning how it works but I uploaded my gaming channel trailer. Here's the site link: http://www.youmdb.com/

As far as I can tell its a directory for YouTubers, similar to how imdb is a directory or database of films and everything about them

It's not made by IMDB and is just there to get people to pay to advertise their channels on the site.

Just want to mention that is incorrect, I found this on the owners linked in after doing a whois which explains what its about better:
