I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on connecting with others and potential listeners, and maybe some advice on how to grow?

Get Darrel Eve's "The YouTube Formula". It has just been released. I'm reading through it now. It would be a good place for you to start. Read it from the beginning to the end.
