''New subscriber'' notifications

I thought no ones subscribing to my channel for weeks already i thought im posting these vids and getting views but no one cares to even subscribe cuz i was used to getting e-mails when someone new subscribes. Then i just looked at my subscribers and i think i got almost +100 subs since last time i can remember.

But whats the deal with YouTube notifications? I know i have them on i used to get them every time. Now its just being a crabface

Anyone else have the same issue?

You only get notification if the ones that subscribe have their subscriptions set as public.

Are you talking about how you sometimes get notifications and sometimes you don't when people subscribe? You won't get an e-mail when someone who keeps their subscriptions private subscribes to you, so I'm guessing most likely everyone who subscribed has had their subscriptions set to private.

I'm the same, I thought it was just that my Subscribers have their Subscriptions private, but no, it's just YouTube not notifying me.
