New Subs Aren't Very Active?

So I've noticed that this happens very often with my channel. New subscribers don't interact much. For example, in 2 hours I just gained 5 subscribers but only 1 like and 1 comment. Is it normal for this to happen?

I was just thinking, some of my favourite YouTuber's never receive a like from me even though I love their videos. I also haven't commented on a video in like 3 years, so I guess I can't get mad tat them. But is anyone else like me? And is it normal to have that amount of interaction?
 
That's completely normal. Not everyone leaves a rating or even comments. Look at Smosh or PewDiePie. They have 12M subs but only get like 50-100k ratings, and 10,000-18,000 comments. That's nothing compared to their sub count.

I read something that like the average is about 20% of your subscribers will leave ratings/comments/be active in general.
 
Aslong as your videos are still increasing in views then you should be fine :) If they drop though....see the view DOCTA!
 
We all want that subscribers keep watching, liking and interacting with your video's. Thing is you can't force them to do it. They'll come to your video's if they need too. Nothing you can't do much about it.
 
Happens to me too, my subscribers have just started going up more regular, I used to never know when they were coming now that come frequent but hardly ever gaining comments and likes from it!
