I do appreciate all the help and things everyone is giving :D but i just don't want people getting in big arguments, because they both have their pro's and their con's

But I would agree on the subscription box - they feature it so prominently everywhere, you'd think the channel page would follow suit. That said, I suppose I don't really want people subscribing if they haven't yet seen my content.

All the partner's channels I have seen have the same look as mine, and I am not partnered. It sucks in my opinion what they have done to the channel layouts now :/
